May 10, 20196 yr Covey vs. Bucholz in Canada. I think there will be some runs scored in this affair. Let's strive mightily to win 2/3 or sweep this weekend.
May 10, 20196 yr Buchholz has been an absolute gas can this season so we're either gonna score 12 runs or he's gonna bounce back with 7 shutout innings

I remember when he first started in the organization. He plowed through 4 levels of MiLB in one season before the Sox called him up. I thought for sure he was going to be a star. Then Williams traded him for someone named Edwin Jackson, who was a total bust with the Sox. Hudson had a bunch of injuries that stifled his career. But he's still around and has a decent career ERA of 3.98. Still a crappy trade by Williams that would have been a lot more one-sided if Hudson would have stayed healthy. Edwin Jackson was actually pretty good for the Sox. 11-9 wit a 3.66 ERA and 3.22 FIP. 174 Ks to 57 walks.
May 10, 20196 yr Well one good move is taking Sanchez out of the damn lineup but we still have Alonso hitting clean up

Every GM in baseball has traded for Jackson it seems.

Never understood the hate for that guy. He made just 30 starts with the Sox and put up 4.8 fWAR, what the hell more do people want from the guy?
