We are now 19-21 without a significant amount of Eloy and Rodón. 

as bad as the indians lineup is I don't actually know how much better it would have been even if they spent some in free agency. Like Grandal is the obvious one. But this is so bad.

Another quality start for Lopez.  That makes 5 QS's out of his last 6 starts.  Yet his ERA is 5.58. That's because in his other starts,  his ERA is 11.78.  Ouch!

To paraphrase an old fairy tale:  "when he was good, he was very, very good.  But when he was bad, he was awful".

Let's hope Mr. Awful is kept to a minimum.

Yes and a back end of Herrerra, Colome, and Kimbrel would REALLY shorten games for the starting staff.

We gonna end this gamethread complaining how Moncada may never hit .300 or..?

Both were performing poorly so it didn’t have much impact.

Why not is right. No more trading for prospects and no more perpetual rebuilding. Not only does the AL Central stink, a good deal of the league stinks. Give it some kind of shot.

What an incredible Jekyll-Hyde team.  The Mariners started the year 13-2.  They are 8-21 since then.

Yeah it wasn't going to last.

I've been to 3 of Reynaldo's starts: 19 2/3 IP 9H, 2ER, 7BB, 25K, 0.92 ERA

Other starts: 30 1/3 IP, 46H, 29ER, 16BB, 28K, 8.60 ERA

 

I think he should hire me to come to all of his games.

Yeah there has to be guys out there that signed one year deals that would have been better than what they had.
