May 13, 20196 yr Can't say I'm surprised. Guy just can not stay healthy. Another one bites the dust. Just curious, does everyone think Rodon was overused at N.C. State? Could that be part of his issues??
May 13, 20196 yr Also worth noting: Nate Jones had surgery on tear in flexor mass, also out for season.
May 13, 20196 yr Well duh. Just move on from him in the offseason. Too bad it didn't work out. Was hyped beyond belief on Rodon when the Sox picked him.
May 13, 20196 yr Welp. As discussed in another thread, its either extend him (with several team options) or non-tender. No point in going through the arb process twice more.

May 13, 20196 yr Considering the way things have gone for the Sox they will just cut ties with him and he will go on to somewhere else being everything they thought he would be. A franchise poorly run usually doesn't catch the good breaks either.
May 13, 20196 yr Jesus, is Adolfo having TJS again? If so that is incredible and wouldn't it point to incompetence in his rehab procedure?
May 13, 20196 yr So...... The idea that this is the front office executives capable of putting together an organization that gets you to the finish line keeps getting harder and harder to believe.

Over under on MLB innings rest of his career is probably 200.

Still wondering if the Sox have even considered the idea of having some independent outside people come in from the medical and physical therapy areas to evaluate the Sox entire medical / training and conditioning staffs and procedures.

This is fairly typical around all organizations not something only the White Sox deal with.

Yah, its not good, but comparing a basketball players knee operation to a fairly simple elbow operation is a bit of reach,

Why stop at the medical and physical therapy operations?
May 13, 20196 yr Rodon's team decided on TJ shortly after his injury first came public. I had no idea it wasn't already publicly known that Rodon was going under the knife. Sox are so strange.
