I send him out even if he's slightly above. I haven't seen any deterioration in the stuff. Let him finish what he started.

The puzzling thing is that the minor league scouting reports said that he was adequate to below average. Not Adam Dunn like.

no way let Gio go out if he gives up a base hit or walk pull him.   Gio has looked good no signs really of tiring.

Even when Gio was bad last year. He always had a knack for using the high fastball as a K pitch. It's one of the reasons why I always despised those saying he's a headcase. It was always apparent he had a good idea how to pitch , he just couldn't throw it where he wanted due to being unable to control his long limbs with any consistency.
