He's been absolutely awful. Right when the Sox start making noise, the dude craps the bed. I guarantee once they are mathematically eliminated he will produce. No pressure then. The guy is a bum when it matters.

His strikes out at a 25% clip, and while he was one of the best fastball hitters early in his career he is just average now. He looks like a guy whose career is nearing its end.

I honestly don't give a crap how bad he's playing for any month, Jose Abreu is one of the best White Sox players I have seen in my lifetime and I can't believe someone on this board called him a "bum".

Verlander is better, but being second to him isn't too shabby. 

Like it or not, this team seems to always have a staff ace under Cooper.  Hard not to see why he's still around.
