Trade him in July, he is on wrong side of 30 for a rebuilding team.

Jay Bruce got traded today for a bag of balls with the Mariners having the privilege to eat most of his salary.  I wouldn't get my hopes up what a return would look like.

Just caught the last 2 outs and highlights.   Wow did Anderson strut after blasting that ball...he's awesome.

That Giolito kid is ok too. ?

Look! The young guys are winning baseball games.

It is quite possible to say that Giolito is a top 5 pitcher in baseball right now. Absurd.

Dare I say THE best pitcher in the AL right now?

Odirizzi is his only competition currently

Uh, Verlander?

Jose Abreu last 30 games. .200/.221/.478

I don't know where the calls for an extension are coming from recently.

He's been absolutely awful. Right when the Sox start making noise, the dude craps the bed. I guarantee once they are mathematically eliminated he will produce. No pressure then. The guy is a bum when it matters.

It's Cease time now. get his feet wet while we prepare for 2020. If LG is close to this(nobody is this good) going forward, we will compete next year.

Damn the torpedoes!

Draft incoming, too.  Very exciting stuff right now.

Ron's bashing Abreu again. Everyone, time to add him back to your fantasy teams. Hot streak here we come!

If before the season, someone had told you that on June 2nd Gio would be leading the majors in wins and Chris Sale would be leading the majors in losses you would have thought they got in to the Kool-aid.

I didnt mean the laugh as your post was ridiculous, I meant it as it's funny

This is gonna be their last top 5, if not top 10 pick for a while. They need to make this one count.

BABIP alone doesn't tell the story. Don't come at me until you check up on the quality of his contact.

Do you know the answer to that question already Ron?

His strikes out at a 25% clip, and while he was one of the best fastball hitters early in his career he is just average now. He looks like a guy whose career is nearing its end.

I honestly don't give a crap how bad he's playing for any month, Jose Abreu is one of the best White Sox players I have seen in my lifetime and I can't believe someone on this board called him a "bum".

Verlander is better, but being second to him isn't too shabby.

Like it or not, this team seems to always have a staff ace under Cooper.  Hard not to see why he's still around.

They didn't have a true ace from Black Jack to Sale.
