  • Lord you can tell some of the newbs here who don't understand how this process works in the draft. Been like this for a while.

  • Bill Melton decides how your name will be pronounced.

@bmags you've been killing it with the draft analysis and profiles (and moderation, I would assume), thank you

Any chance the Sox take a chance on Song or Hampton, knowing they may be difficult signs?

There is a belief that Song will be taken today. It's not signability so much with him, it's that he has a military obligation being a Navy guy.

12:05 start, in true MLB fashion

Do they honestly think us sad, sad, folk who are logging on to MLB DOT COM are unaware of what happened on day 1?

I feel like I'm watching baseball themed QVC.

3B Drew Mendoza, C Drew Milas, CF Jordan Brewer, or SP Graeme Stinson. One of those guys for me.

Is there any type of chance he can break that commitment? Mayo and Callis sounded like they don't believe so

the MLB draft coverage is awful in comparison to the NFL and NBA draft

I really like no Harold so far on this broadcast...

Manfred:

- Players must wear shock collars to speed up game, game too boring

Also Manfred:

- Perhaps we could add a 5 minute moment of silence between every draft pick to make mlb draft more thoughtful

Calis says 2B Will Holland of Auburn would be a great pick in the 3rd RD. 1st RD talent who underperformed.

They just speak so positively about every single player drafted, that it waters down the coverage. Scouting grades on MLB.com tend to be very generous as well.

Too many comparisons to all stars and HOF players as well. Gunnar Henderson might turn into something, but a Chipper Jones comp is damn near absurd.

The Orioles Draft room located in Indonesia or something?

Days 2 and 3 are why I love the MLB draft.

I don't even understand the Hogwarts joke that was made, and I'm the target demographic for that joke.

Quality broadcast.

Zach Watson. Good. I hadn't looked up his profile so he probably sucks.

Could you just imagine Harold comping 8th round picks to hall of famers?

The draft tracker is broken, lol.

It's simply unbelievable that Reynolds has kept the job so long when it seems like everyone hates his analysis.

Sox on the Clock! Pick a good one

Someone give me a take about the guy(s) they take that I can tell people I came up with it on my own to feel smart. Thanks in advance.

Truly surprised how college pitching heavy KC has been.
