Totally unsupported by fact observation, but it seems like Gio groups his K's in the first ~4-5 innings and after that relies on a lot of contact. This works great against bad teams like the Royals, but I can see better hitting teams burning him in innings 5-7.

Anyways, another great outing for our all star.
