You gotta get that “F” key fixed.

Now the weak ass part of the lineup that can't hit for shit.

got that right

Rondon will save the day.

Great AB Eloy. Please make him pay... Rondon? (I know the odds are low)

Step into one, Rondon.  Literally try to get hit.

Of course

Christ he just plain sucks

Sigh. At least it’s tied.

That was a really nice AB by Eloy. Laying off that  ball 4 change was impressive.

No power this year

Cubs always get these ?calls every time at Wrigley

Tight. Leash. Nova. Please.

We are outhitting these guys 2 to one.

Normally I'd be happy to see Eloy walk... but I actually disagree here. With the utter shit we have batting 6-9 and 2 outs, Eloy should have been swinging at that fastball in the zone on 3-1.

I almost would rather see Alonso hit there.

lol love to see the game thread full of armchair pro hitters...  he squared it up, just hit at it someone.

Ricky will leave Nova in just long enough to give up the lead.  Then pull him.

I would have Jace in to start the inning actually but we know he won’t be proactive

yeah...I've seen enough of him.  I'd rather see what Escobar can do at this point.

Agree in principle, however out of the 6 pitches he saw 5 were unhittable. What's he going to do?

I mean here you have a tight game and the umpires have to remind you that their present at the game. It's really astounding in this sport that they can't help it but interject themselves.

People laughed when I said that keeping it in single digits would be an accomplishment tonight

Failure is expected from the awful bottom of the order...

Rondon:  .567 OPS

Cordell:  .597 OPS

Sanchez:  .619 OPS
