Great job by Yolmer, bad by Anderson

That had nothing to do with Tim’s fielding. The defensive shift was what affected that play

 JFC this game thread

He wasn’t loafing upon seeing the replay.  The ball was slowly making its way into the outfield.  He did spike the ball into the ground on one of the worst throws I’ve seen, haha.

One could make the argument that you’d rather have Moncada up with a runner in scoring position.

Batting righty with a bad back... no. I like that move by Ricky. Hamels at 93 pitches is not long for this game.

The guy who has said his back hurts hitting righty to pinch hit for against a lefty yeah awesome

shouldnt that last pitch been a strike

Yeah, he’s been calling it all game against Sox hitters, but now the Cubs are batting. Doesn’t matter; Cubs squander opportunity anyway

Have you never watched baseball before? There are horseshit players on every team.

No, never.  There are guys in AAA right now that deserve a shot over what we keep putting out on the field.

It was his throw to  1st, he was on second with no momentum to first base. It even looked like he was leaning backwards when he threw it.

Well...Nova got us to the bullpen.  We have a real chance now that Moncada is in the game.  This really has been a poorly umped game though.

Yonder still getting interviews about the crosstown classic? Dude won’t play in any of them me thinks

I'd rather bring Palka back and send Cordell off.

Because he was on the right side of the base to start and not on the left side as usual

Jay will replace him

Let’s make sure to keep the “Power 3” together.

Cordell, Sanchez & Rondon.

Completely forgot about Jay

Bunch of weak contact from Cordell & Yolmer

Lets not bunt

So he’s hurt

Why in the hell is he batting righty?  This organization wonders why they can’t keep anyone healthy.

Wat.

He's not ready to play..

Wtf is this
