July 21, 20196 yr Figured it would be pretty cool to see what everyone has. What is everyone's favorite piece of White Sox memorabilia? I have a lot of stuff, but my favorites would probably be: -Ozzie Guillen signed World Series baseball. -Eloy Jimenez signed jersey. -Paul Konerko signed baseball. -Luis Robert signed 8x10 photo. What does everyone else have?
July 21, 20196 yr I've got quite a bit too. My favorite would be: - custom mounted display case with 25 individually signed 2005 WS baseballs by each member of the active roster in the series Couple others: - signed Chicago Tribune sports section front page of A.J. getting punched by Barrett by Pierzynski. - the "Perfection" Buehrle poster signed by Buehrle, Wise, and Castro - 2005 WS Team Baseball with: Guillen, Konerko, Dye, Pierzynski, Iguchi, Contreras, Garland, Crede, Jenks, Blum, Harris, Everett, Podsednik, Hernandez, & Rowand - my 'Rebuild Ball' of all the prospects including: Jimenez, Cease, Giolito, Lopez, Kopech, Robert, Fulmer, Moncada, Burdi, Burger, Madrigal, Rutherford, Basabe, Adolfo, & Sheets - HOF Baseball signed by Thomas.
July 21, 20196 yr Brick from the original Comiskey Park. Signed balls from Moncada, Sale, Jose and Anderson Signed jerseys from Moncada, Ramirez, Konerko, Qunitana Two batting practice jerseys sent to me by the Sox for some work that I've done for them Every media guide since 1968 Scorecards and programs and yearbooks dating back to 1959 The complete Chicago Sun-Times from September 23, 1959, the day after the Sox clinched the A.L. pennant

How did you get the rebuild ball done? SoxFest?
July 21, 20196 yr Author One of my more random ones is something that I got last year. I went to a Kannapolis game because Rodon was starting on a rehab assignment. And because he was there, Jose Contreras was also there. I was sitting in the front row and Jose threw me a ball that had rolled foul during an AB. I then got him to sign the ball after the game. Thought that was pretty cool.

July 21, 20196 yr In 2006 I saw the Sox play in Pittsburgh. I went with my dad. He's the reason I'm a Sox fan and we used to make occasional trips to road Sox games. Anyway during the first game of the series he got a foul ball. He gave it to me. He passed away in 2017. Sometimes it's not the most expensive piece or the one you worked hardest for but instead the most symbolic.
July 21, 20196 yr 1) The 1942 White Sox poster schedule which lists all of the home games from that season, 2) Every White Sox media guide and yearbook since 1933. 3) Every Topps White Sox baseball card from 1959 to the present. The above have been my favorites. My White Sox collection has been featured in Sports Collectors Digest, Sports Collectors daily and the first edition of the White Sox Encyclopedia by Richard Lindberg. My latest collecting sickness are White Sox bobbleheads. I have 130 different White Sox bobbleheads. I'm running out of room in my mancave. Edited July 22, 20196 yr by WBWSF

July 22, 20196 yr I have a lot of stuff as well including game worn jerseys, bats, Comiskey bricks and such. However, my favorite is my autographed Frank Thomas Big Hurt pinball machine.
July 22, 20196 yr I also have the ticket stub from the first Comiskey Park night game from August 14, 1939.
July 22, 20196 yr I wish I would have snagged a brick from old Comiskey. Friend of mine has a seat that I'm trying to snag from him for some trade work. I think the coolest thing I have was a Spring Training program from 1972 (I believe) when the Sox played in Sarasota (Allen never showed up for ST unfortunately). They played the Phillies that day and my program was covered with autographs from all the Sox guys like Melton, Walt Williams, Carlos May, etc...and I got a couple Philly sigs too (Luzinski and Mike Schmidt). It's tucked away in a box at my Dad's. If anybody recalls the ST facility you pretty much hung out by the clubhouse that was separate and all the players had to walk thru to the field.
July 22, 20196 yr I've got a pen that when you push it down it plays Hawk calling a game winning home run by Jose Valentin.....You can put it on the board, YES!!! I also love an autographed photo of Minnie Minoso that my wife gave me (when we were engaged) from when Minnie came to where she was working downtown. She said he was just the nicest man, which agrees with any story I've ever heard about him.
July 22, 20196 yr I have a Maggs Ordonez hat that he threw out of the dugout right into my hands during a game he was just off. But my prize is my autographed Holy Cow Harry Caray and Jimmy Piersall signed ball that I caught when I was 12 or 13. I went to a double header with my friend, his dad, and his sister. We were sitting in LF at the old Comiskey Park, and my friend and I decided to be cool so we went to sit behind the plate. There was an aisle at the old park just beyond the boxes and as we were walking Willie Mays Aikens hit a foul ball that hit the auxilary scoreboard . I jump up on the area behind the boxes ( it was higher so people could still see the game as idiots like me walked by) leaned up against the railing and one handed it. I then snapped it down like Dave Parker used to do. I got a nice hand and some high fives. We proceded to still behind the plate, and a little while later I got a tap on the shoulder, I assumed the gig was up, but it was someone who was going to escort me to the broadcast booth to meet Harry and Jimmy. I guess Harry went on and on about my catch. So we went up there, and I talked to him for about a minute during the game and they signed my ball. I still have it, even though it's pretty faded.

July 22, 20196 yr I have a copy of baseball digest with Dick Allen on the cover with his autograph on it. Best present my son ever gave me.

July 22, 20196 yr I have my seat tickets from the last game at Comisky and the first game at the new park mounted on a poster photo of both parks when they were both still standing side by side.

July 22, 20196 yr Not sure if it’s my favorite, but I’m glad I have it... A ticket stub from Buehrle’s debut in 2000. Didn’t even know he got called up until he was warming up in the pen late in the game.
