I think Madrigal does, but not sure Dunning gets a spot right given the roster shrinks to 28 in two weeks. I think they stretch him out as much as they can and keep him as starter depth.

The guy can't find the zone on a regular basis. The role of an innings filler is to pitch a lot of innings in bad situations. It doesn't help if they can only go two innings because they threw 50 pitches with 4 walks.

July 23, 20205 yr If Gio is first up in long relief, then Detwiler is probably second, so it's not like he will see many innings. He's fungible.
