Gio got a good enough job done. He needed another inning, but this bullpen is NAILS

Well done Cordero!

Thank you Gio

They scouted the hell out of him but decided to go the safe route.  It's going to haunt them for years.

What's your opinion on Crochet/Kelley?

I think it's a much better approach than what they did with Madrigal and Vaughn.

I'm convinced Crochet would have gone top 5 had there been a college baseball season.

I was for Kelenic or Liberatore that year. I don't agree with them going with Madrigal over Kelenic, but I do understand it.

I don't understand it and I never will.  Ireally  liked Liberatore but I wanted Singer or Kelenic.  So many dudes.....

Gio is not the answer. Hahn has some work to do.

You hate the Vaughn pick or just would have preferred Abrams?

My 5 year old grandson is hanging with me watching the game

"why are you upset when they don't hit the ball?

Lol

Kind of feel bad for Madrigal. Nick is pressing trying for a hit

It's about positional value for where they were picking, it's my personal philosophy. It's fine to disagree.

Thanks Jack....I think I will disagree.

I hated Singer that year because I thought his arm slot was an injury waiting to happen, and there were consistency issues with his stuff.

Leury base hit!

I LOVE Crochet.  High ceiling left handers is what the top of the draft is all about.  Not a fan of Kelley's profile but I like him better in the 2nd round than if they used a 1st on him.

leury is a starting CF in mlb the sox honestly should try and sell high on him for pitching.

That's where I am with both Madrigal and Vaughn. I don't hate either but I would have preferred they go with bigger upside at the spot they were picking. Hopefully Vaughn is Frank Thomas Jr and I look stupid.

Me too on both. Holy shit we have like the exact same scouting philosophy lol.

I'm convinced Crochet would have gone top 5 if not 1st had he pitched a full college season.

I preferred Abrams (and Bleday and Greene) but I don't hate Vaughn.  Just not the direction I would have gone.

how did engel foul that off?  his swing is better right now.  more direct to the ball.

KC Special hahaha

Engel’s got some good mojo going

see that's what that contact allowed, got him a hit.  great job to foul off that inside fastball and then golf that one out there.
