8/5 Sox vs Brewers GT

Featured Replies

I don't like our approach so far.. everyone trying to yank the ball and playing right into the sinkers strength.

  • Get a god damn win

  • Unfortunately the weather goes both ways. Healy probably has a 3 run homer in the 3rd if the ball carried better.

Oh well, can’t win em all.   Keuchel was awesome and the Sox caught a couple of bad breaks.

Houser is really pitching welk. Everything is low in the zone. They just need to be more selective, but sometimes you just need to tip your hat and acknowledge that the pitcher is on his game

Feeling a bit sorry for the Brewers, unpredictable 4 game layoff, White Sox, then the Twins.

We're getting Cy Young Keuchel today with the Ks.

However, when you throw as many grounders as Keuchel some of them inevitably find holes.

Avi usually busts it down the 1B line a bit more than that...

Hopefully, he'll get some run support soon.

FUCK OFF BREWERS D

Brewers playing great defense tonight.  Thought that was gone

That would have been a double with Delmonico or Mazara out there...

Fastest game in MLB this season, minus 7 inning DH?

Mazara  is the definition of opportunity cost.

Sox are hitting frozen ropes straight at defenders.

Guess we're taking the night off, at the plate.

Mazara looks so bad at the plate.  Almost as if he’s trying too hard to hit the ball in the air.

Mazara is clearly off a bit.

The Marlins are the baseball version of that movie The Replacements...now batting.....John Wick

But Eddy Alvarez made the MLB roster

Houser is gonna throw a Maddux at this rate.

We are in swing mode tonight. Zero patience

Two more innings to get to the Brewers before Hader Time.

They've hit like 3 balls hard all night

He's throwing strikes and everything is down. Not much they can do.

Houser going 8 at this pace

pretty much, they've hit the ball OK, this guy is just dealing and any hard hit ball is being gobbled up.

Well, if they lose, we've only lost 1 hour 45 minutes of our lives, compared to last night's 4+ hours (imagine if Colome blew that one.)

Benetti just said that the 5 hardest hit balls in the game were from Sox hitters, and that was before Jimenez lined out.
