Having the 2-0 count there would have put him in the catbird's seat...but at least laid off the first one.

16 swings and misses alone in this series, but still doing damage.

 

16 strikeouts, 17 hits on the season.  Both lead the team.  OBP over .400, 957 OPS before tonight.

 

Swung right through a hanging slider up high in the zone.  ACED him with slider off the outside corner, cutter maybe.   Same result.
