  • How do you sit Grandal with so many starters out? It’s a 60 game season. He eats more bench than anyone.

  • Not that I dont disagree with Grandal sitting but comparing a physical limitation/error to a mental isn't fair.

Ball 5.

Jesus thought Robert was gonna score there.... I love him

Thought that was CoCo Crisp in CF for a second, haha.

Civale out of sorts to start off, need to put up some runs here.    3-0 to Moncada.    Clipped the top of the zone, taking all the way.    Second strike was inside, but framed well.

First thought, Robert's going to try for home and run through the stop sign, lol.

This dude is like a crafty lefthander in a RHPer's body.

Sox should not swing at anything right now. This pitcher has zero control.

Wtf are you swinging at Jose?

Now we know how fans feel when Gio G and Cishek are pitching.

Abreu fishing...spoiled it.    Just trying to put it in play, avoid the DP ball, he's one of the best at situational hitting on the team.

OOOOPS.

Spoke too soon.

Bring up Vaughn, lol.

Jesus. Just giving away an at bat when this guy has NO control. Jose needs to be smarter there.

Abreu GIDP.  1-0.

Let them off the hook.  Ugh.

Really wish Moncada was a little bit more aggressive on the basepaths....might have been able to get to 2nd base and avoid the DP ball situation.

That said, it's also likely to get him injured with all his hammy problems the last 2-3 years.

Thank god we got one at least.

People will cite Jose’s RBI #’s but in reality he’s left a TON on base

I like Jose and I am not a Jose basher but he has many selfish at bats. The 3-1 pitch he swung at was a foot off the plate. If he takes it we have bases loaded with no one out. Instead a double play.......don't like that kind of baseball

The way things have been going, you didn't expect to score one...now hitting under .100 with RISP over the last 2+ games.

If we end up trading Vaughn to keep Grandpa Abreu around....

Can't keep putting the leadoff hitter on base every inning.    Just trust your stuff and throw it across the damned plate.

Reyes has MASSIVE power.

It’s a relevant point, but fuck Pnoles.

This is like that Primus song, Too Many Pitches.
