Oh shit, can’t believe I feel asleep and missed this!  At least I didn’t have to endure Renteria throwing the game...lol.

How did Burdi look guys?  Give me something positive on this dark, distressing day.

Confident.   Was getting the ball and throwing it.   Not thinking too much.   Not a great amount of movement on his pitches, but velocity was overwhelming.    Slider was a bit flat and would be better at 85-87 than 88-89.   Change-up showed potential.    Grandal philosophy seemed to be frame the middle of the plate and just let him throw it to the center and see what happens.

Definitely would have been a helluva better option than Drew Anderson out there.

Leury is definitely hurting.

Burdi wasn’t just throwing the ball and not thinking. Once he set he was thinking exactly what he was going to do. Threw 98 On the corners and had a great slider. Last guy he struck out on a wipe out slider.

He could have easily gotten knocked out of game in the 3rd

We are a dead ass team right now.

All this hitting we heard about at start of year is jo where to be found

Embarrassing effort by the offense the last four games.  The quality of the at bats is terrible, as we look like teams like the Pirates who have no interest in competing this year.

Yeah that’s a big-time plus if he can be the guy he was expected to be, or even close to it.

Sure seems that way.

It’s a good time to be NOT Steve Cishek. Not talking about the twitter handle.

I am honestly not worried about the offense. They will break out
