Umpire completely took that at-bat away from Robert... One thing's for certain, that McCann will be catching Giolito for the rest of the season.

  • porn stash and porn 'stache are two very very different things....

Wat?

They had an 11-8 record against them last year. Played them more competitively than anyone thought....lol

Except none of those games actually mattered to the White Sox...unlike now.

It’s the year 2020 and MLB teams rake in billions of dollars. You would think that every team would play in a stadium with a retractable roof by now.

Whether they win or lose this game it's been pretty enjoyable. As has the season for the most part. Still excited for the future.

I’m glad a select few people are positive.

It should be required for all new stadiums.

A little blip.  It’s already slowed from the sound off my windows.

So that means they should be less competitive now? ?

Worst case scenario they are at .500

You‘d think they are already dead and buried at 5-30

Says expect occasional thunderstorms to end at 10:00 p.m. at TWC.com

Let’s hope Roger BowZard is getting this field ready for an Edwin Encarnacion walk-off

Hahaha A-Rod is horrible.

Looks like it was a short heavy storm. Should be good to go soon

Hate the delay at such a critical moment, but loving the views from my apartment (25th floor right on the lake with views of downtown skyline) :D.

Too expensive in this day of crunched municipal budgets....unless you get private funding.

Maybe works for 10-12 teams IN MLB.   Plus, they're an eyesore, IMO.    Look like giant aircraft hangers.   Rangers' new stadium looks like the Chernobyl sarcophagus they built over the nuclear core.  UGLY.

Yeah, or to them it is like the early 2000s where they underachieved and brought in Wells and Ritchie to be the savior to try and compete year after year.

Will Hand still be pitching?

Except for that large thunder clap.

I would think so if it’s a short delay.

I don't care if they're ugly, I care if they're comfortable. Ever been to a game when it's 100 degrees out? Not fun. Completely ruins the experience.

I'd rather go to a game in April when it's 50 than in July when it's 95. A retractable roof solves both problems.

I went to the Sox game on the night they drafted Burger and it was 99 degrees at 1st pitch, at 7:10 pm. It made me question whether or not I ever wanted to attend another baseball game in person ever.

Two different years.

Wells was gone after 2001, the year Frank got hurt and Canseco took his place.

Ritchie trade for Fogg/Lowe/Wells was after.

Can someone please post an update when the game is about to resume?  Need to switch over to The Wire to kill some time.

I know it was two different years. You get the point though, that’s how people are b****ing.

2001 isn’t in the early 2000s? ?

Speaking of Brad Hand, I'm going to send Tyrion Lannister the Hand if A-Rod makes one more annoying comment...
