August 20, 20205 yr Giolito - Ace form TA7 - Batting champ form Abreu - RBI champ form Mazara - Trash Can form Edited August 20, 20205 yr by EloyJenkins
August 20, 20205 yr If we continue beating up on the bad teams like this, there's no reason we can't win 35 games. I just looked over the schedule and there's a lot of Pirates, Tigers, and Royals on it. If we take care of business vs. them and just split against the Indians, Cubs, and Twins there's no reason we can't compete for the division.

August 20, 20205 yr 16 of our remaining 34 games are against the Pirates, Royals, and Tigers. If the main guys stay healthy, we'd have to majorly fuck up to not win 30+.
August 20, 20205 yr I just jumped out of a time machine from last week, I was gonna come in here and say #FireRick #FireRicky
August 20, 20205 yr Good teams have to be bum slayers too. Taking care of business against the tigers and royals is important guys, we haven't even really see this team at full power yet.

I will pretend I didn’t see this. This is fun but never say never haha. Loving this team though. Still has work to do long term, especially the shaky d, but when they have abs like they did in that first inning, where they just grinder to get their pitches and work the pitchers...just fun. and Lucas...dirty!!!
August 20, 20205 yr Sox definitely do a good job beating up the bad teams. That sounds easy but often losses against bad teams are costing a playoff spot. The sox still struggle against good teams and have trouble scoring against good pitchers with plus stuff but they are doing a good job beating the teams they should beat.

Beating up on bad teams should be expected. When the competition gets tougher that's when winning on the margins -- something the manager is involved in -- will become critical.

August 20, 20205 yr Anybody have or know where to find Gio's stats this year and last with McCann catching vs. without?

Offense and bullpen should keep them in every game. Need Cease, Gonzalez, Dunning, ReyLo, and or Rodon to solidify the rotation.
