Don’t get upset folks. Fusing is a good defensive player with speed. He can fit the role of defensive specialist and pinch runner and spot starter

Is Fusing his nickname?  I thought it might be The Vacuum or something like that.

Sox have not just been mentioned as potential destinations, but are considered a favorite to land one of them as one of a handful of teams (Mets & Marlins being the others) with significant slot room left.

Sure but that is all conjecture and speculation.  There is no ACTUAL rumor of agreement or even real negotiations between everyone.  LIke we KNOW we are signing Vera at this point.  We have nothing like that for Colas and Cespedes, at least that I have seen.

Colas still hasn't been declared eligible to sign yet, so there's still the waiting game to be done there. One would assume it would be cleared up by the beginning of the next period in JAN, but who knows with the MLB nowadays.

The ideal situation would be for him to be pushed into July of 21(with no delay in the period) so that they can work both Cespedes  in the first window and Colas into the 2nd window, and maybe even the newest Cuban pitcher by the time he clears.  Realistically, if they really do delay the second window to Jan of 22, there is about zero way we get both of them.

Yeah that would be the ideal situation for the Sox, however unlikely it may actually be.

And also hopefully no international draft by that time too which is possible under next CBA.

Yeah, and you know I was thinking about this. Although this is probably a question for another topic. How will that first international draft work? Wouldn't every team have players already locked up from 2 or 3 years previous?  So when your team is on the clock wouldn't you just draft the kid you already have an agreement with?  The kid that you know and are excited about?  All of these agreements are because of money previously agreed upon. But there will still be a draft pool of money allocated to each team just like the regular draft. Right? So the money might have to be tweaked some.  Probably details discussed in the new cba. And I imagine after the first draft it will smooth out and feel more like every other draft.  It's just the first one I think will be strange. And the sox might have the youngest of the Tatis brothers too in this draft. Whom dad says might be the most talented of the 3!  All we can do is wait to see how all of this unfolds.

We already have him.   He WAS referring to Elijah.

There are two more brothers and a sister, five total kids in the family.

I know they signed Elijah. But there is a 3rd brother whom looks favorable for the sox to sign. And it would be this possible 1st draft year.

If you can get someone better, you would definitely draft a different guy.

This is incorrect.  FutureSox has been reporting for a while that there is a third brother, who would be potentially in the class which could be the first international draft class.

Yeah Y20Jimmy has hinted that they may have an agreement already but an international draft could hinder that.

They're signing DANIEL?   I think NOT.

Actually, I thought there was a total of four brothers and then the one sister...but apparently it's just the three brothers and one sister.

I can guarantee with 100% accuracy Daniel Fernando Tatis is way too young for Jerry Reinsdorf to sign.   The only thing I can possibly think is that he might have a "half-brother" but that doesn't sound right, either.

When the call comes for Bebo, it will take much longer to connect with everyone he needs to celebrate with. As Maria Tatis explains, their family goes everywhere together, in large numbers. Tatis Jr. grew up with four brothers and sisters. Multiple cousins and aunts and uncles were always around. They are known around their neighborhood as “Los Muchos” (The Many).

The FOURTH brother is Joshua Fernando.

Joshua Fernando Tatis (age 20) is currently listed at __27 Pall Mall St E, Kissimmee, 34758 Florida and is not affiliated to any political party. He is a Hispanic male registered to vote in Osceola County .

There is no conjecture in saying that we are one of only a handful of teams with enough bonus pool to sign these guys.  And given that we are far away the best of the three teams, have a long-term RF spot wide open, and have the strongest Cuban connection means we are highly likely to land one of these guys.  Obviously nothing has been agreed to yet, but our own James Fox has suggested there is a high likelihood we land one of these guys.  That’s good enough for me to say we’re a favorite.
