Come back down to earth?  Homeboy is hitting .266 with a .314 OBP.  He's kept 2B from being a black hole in the lineup, but he is firmly on the earth right now.

Wtf.  Batting practice.

Don’t hesitate Ricky. Get Gio up

Lopez needs to be throwing 96-100 out of the bullpen.

Throwing 92-95 as a starter is just so ordinary right now in the big leagues.

It's more about him not having any sort of command at all. He's a thrower.

4th straight KC hit...

Coop couldn’t mask his frustrations

GioG up now

this guy has mostly sucked for quite a while now.

Ball 1 and ReyLo. An iconic duo

He will end up with Detroit or Baltimore where he belongs. Costing us this game.

Yup. He ain’t making it anywhere with the garbage he’s throwing

He isn't good.  That's the reality. It is what it is not everyone works out.  Glad they have other options now and for the future.

He Gone!

Rex Hudler hammering Lopez on the lack of movement on his pitches, particularly the FB.

Pointing out the obvious observation that the Royals are the best fastball hitting team in the league and near the bottom against breaking pitches.

Where has that been?

The Royals aren't good but they've beaten some decent teams this year. They are no auto W. Especially against Reylow

Jackson County MO was a real pull from Jason, wow lol

“I’d rather roll with the starters we have than trade a prospect for Lance Lynn”- Fans stuck in rebuild mentality

Edited by Orlando

I know Gio went from worst to first, but he did it by making a massive overhaul of his mechanics. ReyLo has flashed amazing stuff in a couple of games but shit, Dylan Covey looked like a Cy Young candidate in a couple of games too. Its baseball, shit happens. Its clear at this point that unless ReyLo is ready to try something as drastic as Gio its time to move on, he's been stagnant for over a year now.

Game is far from over.   minimize the damage here and take him out after this inning .

Depends on what u gotta give up.....in would  rather not see Lopez in the rotation anymore

Here's something we haven't seen very much this year...Sox need to come back. Let's see if they can do it

He gone!

You can't call yourself a true contender and throw him out there. Championship teams don't have gas cans in their rotation. I believe he and Rodon can make nice bullpen pieces though.

Serious question because I'm too lazy to look it up. How has lynn been against teams above 500?
