I think over the course of a full season, Maeda would flame out. He's never really thrown a ton of innings in any year cause the Dodgers were worried about his longevity. But a 60 game season is perfect for him.

6 of his 12 sliders have been above the belt

High offspeed isn't necessarily bad, and if he can't get it under control they'll stop calling it.

EE has NO chance against Maeda.

Yoan isn’t far behind

Maeda looks nasty so far.

Yeah he looks good. Maybe we can get away with Lopez throwing just fastballs.

I was really hoping they would win this series but the offense has been kinda flat lately. Get the slumps out of the way now before the playoffs start I guess.

Maeda through 2 on 23 pitches.

Yoan is also terrible against sliders.

At least Lopez’s mound presence has been upgraded from baby face to simi-baby face.

Twins are throwing probably 90 pct of the pitches this series to Yoan on the outer half.  If he doesn’t walk, he’s an easy out for them.

Why waste a Keuchal start against Maeda. I can see why they went with Lopez here. The Sox don't stand a chance.

Robert against the Maeda slider next inning should be.....interesting.

The last 11 innings offensively has been nothing short of bad. They look to have no plan up there, and they seem careless. Maybe the second time through will be the cure

Anyone against him right now is "interesting." He swung through a 91 mph fastball yesterday right down the plate

Nice hustle to get there Eloy

We just don't match up well against him cause a bunch of our hitters can't hit sliders.

Yep not sure why some think it’s an automatic win if Keuchel pitched

That was a nice slider on strike 1 to Donaldson

Believe it or not, Robert's done the best against sliders this year. Mostly of the hanging variety though. His whiff rate on them is awful.

Great quick inning. Twins way off-balance.

awesome quick inning by Lopez

Come on let's goooooooo

Fastball/Changeup working well. If he can keep his slider at the bottom half of the zone he has been good so far

Nice quick 123 inning for Lopez.

Any time bats want to make Maeda work would be great...
