The Fundamentals 101 play for him is to field the ball and Madrigal to be at 1st in that situation.  However, becasue of the shift Madrigal is basically behind 2nd base.  He's not quick enough to get there.

This game is reminding me of that mess of a game against the Twins last week that we all thought was a loss. Got a gut feeling tonight.

He's looked way better the past 2 innings. Early on he was getting hit hard.
