Sox pitching has been walking the 9 hitter far too often

Job of the nine hitter is to get on base and we like to help with that concept.

  • Honestly I’m less upset with the result than the process (going to Ruiz).  If Foster allows the homer, at least it was your best reliever against lefties.  This is the second game this year we let a p

The lineup was struggling for a bit, but Timmy/Abreu/Eloy were carrying it. Ricky unwilling to shake things up isn’t helping. Why would you bat Yoan in between your two hottest hitters?

RR’s stubborn insistence that doing things the same way repeatedly will fix problems...

How do you not challenge that Ricky? He was out.

Looks like Tim got him.  Ugh.

Where the FUCK is our challenge RICKY?!

You gotta wonder if we're trying to lose on purpose at this point after not challenging that. Tim didn't even argue that. He clearly tagged him.

Renteria doing his usual in game idiocy.

I would rather they get 7 than 4/5, to be honest

At this point, it's cost Lopez at least 10 pitches and possibly more runs.

Lopez just does not miss bats.

What is your logic behind that? Just curious.

Careful, the Rick Renteria fanclub is going to call you a meathead if you keep talking bad about him.

Don't have to face the Jankees.

2 on 2 out to their hottest hitter. Awesome.

If they drop to 7 they will have have as bad a week as possible and as such will go into the playoffs flat and bow out rather meekly.

Yankees are just bludgeoning the ball. I don’t trust this offense hitting Cole.

Funnily enough the "fanclub" doesn't seem to be around tonight.  And here I am negative ass chitown still glued to every inning.  Go figure.

Just walk him

Fucking lucky that stayed in.

Thanks to Ricky Lopez has an extra 15 pitches thrown

Thought it was gone off the bat

Whew, just got in on him enough.  Lopez keeping them in the game.

Just got that in enough to Ramirez to make him line out. Ricky not challenging cost Lopez another inning of pitches. Just unbelievably stupid.

How about a leadoff double from Yoan, just for old times sake?

I want them to go to Crochet for the next 2 innings then Foster for the next two and feel happy Lopez has given us a shot but feel Lopez will "come back out"

Although they still need to score a run.
