November 18, 20205 yr Just now, Chicago White Sox said: That’s not good for us Put it this way....if Mets want Springer, they will outbid anyone
November 18, 20205 yr I wish the majority of players would just vote for: 1st offense- 1 yr. 2nd offense- lifetime ban. That might clean things up.

November 18, 20205 yr Cano likely buried his chance of getting 3000 hits. His HOF chances were slim to begin with after he already got suspended, now he has no chance of getting in.

I’d put in Bonds and Clemens since Piazza, Ivan, and Bagwell (and others) are already in. I said Manny too, but maybe not since he was suspended post-Mitchell Report. I’d draw the line after that for getting in the Hall, so no Arod, Braun, or Cano.
November 18, 20205 yr Cano still has 2 years @ 24M per left on his deal after the 2021 suspension. WOOF
November 18, 20205 yr This was Cano's 2nd time getting popped for steroids. What kind of year did he have last season? Maybe he was thinking that he was at the end of the line anyway so he might as well roid up and risk getting caught to stay in the game? I'm surprised that a lot of other players don't do that TBH.
November 18, 20205 yr Question...he doesn't get paid the 24 mil...but are the Mets still on the hook for the 24 mil to count against cap? I am not sure. The one positive about it is now they need to spend a bunch of money on a second baseman amongst other upgrades. Edited November 18, 20205 yr by EloyJenkins

November 18, 20205 yr I’m not worried about this at all. If we miss out on Springer there are options out there. Even via trade. It’s still early in the offseason. Edited November 18, 20205 yr by maloney.adam
