February 11, 20215 yr I would have like Tony Wolters as a potential backup C on a minor league deal. Career 31% caught stealing, regularly grades out as an above average to excellent pitch framer, according to MLBTR.

February 11, 20215 yr https://www.mlb.com/news/2021-regular-season-schedule-announced Sox getting some national recognition right off the bat. Opening Day game against the Angels will be on ESPN. The first Sunday Night Baseball game will be the Sox and Angels as well. And then obviously the Field of Dreams game against the Yanks. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Sox get added to more national games as the season progresses, given they remain competitive.
February 11, 20215 yr I like having the season start on the West Coast, only having to travel from AZ instead of from Chicago.

Yeah it's also kind of nice knocking out some of those later games early in the season. Edited February 11, 20215 yr by manbearpuig dumb autocorrect

Now we don't have to deal with games starting super late in like August. Just get it over with. Plus the benefit of the weather will be beautiful and pretty much gauranteed no postponements for at least the first week while they're out west.
February 11, 20215 yr In April the only team we play that is actually trying to make the playoffs is the Angels. The other teams are Tigers, Royals, Rangers, Indians, Mariners, Red Sox. We will need to start off strong against these weak teams.

I like it. Hopefully we won't be bitching heavily less than a month in, lol.

If he's fully recovered, he could have a solid impact.

Seems like more teams are choosing to start at 6:10 or 6:40 for weekday games, Wish the Sox would have done that too. Stickin' with 7:10.
February 12, 20215 yr Finally, Mazara does something that will help the White Sox win baseball games.

February 12, 20215 yr Man, we might really just go into the season as-is, huh? Wake me up when Pax signs somewhere. Super glad the Cards got Arenado but losing Fowler and Miller will suck on that front. Edited February 12, 20215 yr by RagahRagah
