First game watching, but for those that have watched previous games, has the dugout called all pitches like they are today, or is this a function of this being a Yermin start? Giolitio's work is important, but would also be a good opportunity for Yermin to plan pre-game and come up with pitch management to aid his development. 

Yermin has looked good today, and his throw to 2b was on the money. Can't ask for anything more this ST. Not sure if Narron's guy Lucroy is a fait accompli based on La Russa's/Narron's familiarity, or there is a legitimate shot for Collins or Mercedes to make the squad.

Giolito has look well in command through 3, Moncada made a nice grab along the top as well in the third. Nice to watch White Sox baseball.

Hard to tell from the webcast but Eloy looked to me like he is a few pounds heavier than he was last year.

 

lets hope Remillard doesnt come up to play shortstop this season. Missed an easy tag and then cant glove the easiest chopper.

 

 

Our offense has been lifeless.  Sure glad Madrigal starts playing tomorrow.  Need some small ball energy to spark the team.

They won 7-0 yesterday in a 7 inning game where the Indians rolled at least one inning due to the Sox pelting them. That doesn't seem lifeless to me.

I wouldn't worry much until the entire lineup is set and playing every day.
