Compared to the other contenders, this isn't true at all. There's no comfortably above replacement level cover at 2B, 3B, or SS.

How are you not comfortable with Engel as your #4 and Leury as your #5?  Goodnight.

Has Mendick played much SS this spring?  For the first time in a long time the Sox have some interesting roster decisions.

Robert scratched, Luis Gonzalez takes his place in CF.

Precautionary for an abdominal strain for Robert. Hopefully nothing.

Just hoping it isn't an oblique

So when does Madrigal not have enough time in to be ready for the season.  I was a big fan but am now sliding over to questioning his durability and size to be an every day major league player.

Cease with some nasty breaking pitches. Beautiful curve and nasty slider.

Don't know why neither stream is working for me. Dammit.

I can't get the you tube stream. Anyone have a suggestion?

OK I have it. I had to deny seeing the advertisements on the You Tube pop up window.

Why?  Nobody is going to be go balls to the wall right now.  It's a good sign that he's not trying to be big dick nick right now.

Good rip by Yaz

So what do yall think of Yoan being the clean up hitter in the regular lineup to start the season?

I hate it.  Yoan is my 2 hitter forever and always.

Maybe yours but not TLRs lol.

Gotta love Luis Gonzalez right behind Elpy Jimenez (I know he filled in for Luis).

Hate it.  Eloy should be PEN'd into the #4 spot.

Every time I see Gonzalez hit, it’s a weak ground ball.

Cease moving at a much better pace

Good to see using that curveball we saw last year in the 'summer camp' or whatever Spring Training 2.0 was called. Looks like he also has Giolito's little leg kick on his follow through when he's upset with himself missing his location, kind of entertaining.

Cease looks much better than last year

Much better control, he upped his pace. Hopefully this is the start of something great

He definitely has better “misses” this year. Still a little surprising how such a “fast” fastball can look so easy to hit.

Yeah you could tell they were sitting on his fastball, couple of them were hard hit.

There doesn't seem to be a noticeable cut on his fastball like previous years, but it's still getting squared up.
