The Sox were tied for 2nd, 1 game out of first. You act like they snuck in while 10 games back.

60 games, which is roughly 1/3 of a normal season.

2020 was a unique season with unique rules that should be considered a historical anomaly.

16 team playoffs in a 60 game season is a one time farce that is and always has been a joke.

The 2016 Sox would have made the playoffs after 60 games.

BTW that is a very BWC-esque post. You're even using his terminology.

When was there ever an 180 game season?

Wouldn't Tampa have made the playoffs over them?

They would have made the playoffs under normal rules, as has been covered here ad nauseam.

eh, I screwed that up.

It's 37.2% of a regular season if we're not being rough with the math. (not that far from 33.3%)

Anyway, I forgot that the Jankees didn't win the AL East.

Since the Sox would have been the 2nd WC, I guess you can count it.

He is suffering from social anxiety and maybe even a mild form of autism (not confirmed but there are rumors).

Some of the comments in the Twitter thread were pretty disgusting making fun of his anxiety and saying he shouldn't complain because he made 300 mil
