Has anything been hit to Vaughn?

Rodon has 5 strike outs through 3.  The other four outs weren't hit to Vaughn.

I'm okay with timmy not running into the second basemen. not trying to be down 2 starters

  • People were just saying how Collins should be dumped for a reliever a few days ago. Look at his physique. The strides this kid has made physically is encouraging. If he makes more contact this se

Rodon gets his revenge on Hiura. Looks great!

Really like how he’s not missing arm side

Vaughn fields a ground ball double down the LF line. He's still alive I think.

I get that I was wrong about Eloy but he seemed uniquely terrible at putting himself in dangerous positions and am still against this whole thought process that people who have played baseball every day for like 70% of their lives will die playing left field.

Rodon is for real. Would be incredible if this Collins is too.

Assuming he opens the year on the roster (it seems likely at this point), it kinda stings a bit that they didn't cut Edwin and call him up last year. Oh well.

Hit 98 that inning

It’s like last year never ended

Yup, maybe even worse. Just free swinging at everything right now

And he's only about half way through building back up to full strength as a starter again. Very promising.

Needs to get closer to the plate and keep his shoulder in more. He’s reacting to pitches on the outside corner like they’re a foot off the plate.

We should franchise player tag Rodon.

Good thing with Vaughn is he will arrive at the wall 2 seconds after the wall so likely he won't get hurt:).

Regarding vaughns hitting he has a quite solid spring considering his pro experience but he seems a bit vulnerable to offspeed on the outer half. He is very good on hard stuff in but might still need some work on that soft stuff. But I'm sure he will make that adjuatment

Soft single blooped in front of Vaughn.

Vaughn looked like a gold glover fielding that ball ?

Ugh.  Couple of cheap hits and now Will Carter is coming in.  Carlos pitched well, though.

I like how they have him playing about ten feet in front of the track

That's what I would have him do. Easier to come in for a flyball rather than back.

With Eloy out, Robert has to hit like he did for the first month of last year. It's spring training, but it's still really troubling.

For sure

Honestly though why wouldn't you.

Robert I don't know . I feel like for a while he's going to have stretches where it doesn't look like he can play baseball and stretches where he is the best baseball player on the planet.

Not concerned.
