Man - that tatis injury had to be one of the most unique injuries I have ever seen. Right there with Eloys. Terrible.

Did Moncada just show frustration?

Even if service time wasn't a consideration, if Vaughn is struggling, I'd rather see him get regular AB's in the minors just for development purposes.

Especially with Mercedes doing well

Two of the most fun players in baseball down (potentially) for a long time. What a shame.

Shoulder separation

Is there another player who had separated his shoulder while swinging? I don’t ever remember seeing that.

98...people feel better now?

Kopech’s command is fantastic tonight. No idea how a player finds his command by missing two years but geeze his deliver looks so compact and consistent tonight.

Not sure how righties hit him

Filthy!!

If his slider looks like that I think the answer is simply, they don’t.

14 Ks tonight! White Sox feasting on AAA hitters.

Every Mariner has struck out at least once.

Stupid sexy Kopech!

He only pitches from the stretch now and must have tuned his delivery.

That Kopech slider is so unfair

Really loving the future of our rotation.

Kopech throwing whiffle balls up there

Looks like Tatis will be out 2-3 months.  Some are saying healing time of 4-6 weeks.

The Padres are going to have that vaunted depth tested, and quickly.

Left shoulder sublaxation/partial dislocation.  Will be evaluated fully tomorrow.

PTAC?

He's already had problems with the same shoulder before, so he's ultimately going to need surgery.

The spin he got on the last one looked fucking insane on the replay

If anyone thought Kopech's heart wasn't going to be in it after two years or that he only wanted to be play if he was a starter, he sure looks like he's having fun out there right now.

I think Kopech is going to end this season as the 3rd most valuable pitcher on the staff, even with all of his restrictions. The stuff is too so overwhelming and his command looks excellent.

His talent is just outrageous. Thank goodness the Sox never wavered and traded him.

Hamilton one-pitch mode is fun

Maybe the neck gaiters are throwing Andrew and Nick off.
