Vaughn will be a good major league hitter someday but he isn't now.   Right now, he reminds of Moncada during his first year in the majors.    Trust in Tony and allow Andrew time to become the player deserving of key ABs.

This guy has a .400 OBP right now. That's amazing.

Sure his .avg isn't there, but it's such a small sample size.

Vaughn is doing Vaughn things.. he just needs more of a chance.

No need to think outside the box.. That's just another way of saying I'm a clueless fan. Cease has to pitch. Everyone has a few extra days of rest . It's a long season after a short season. Cease is g

  • Theres no excuse batting leury leadoff, disgusting also to an admin, the ads block the post function on the mobile site. Just an FYI. Had to go to my computer to voice my displeasure in this garc

Leury leading off is the biggest indictment on the offseason yet. Good lord.

How can you send the runner back to 1st base???

This ump should have taken one off the balls, not that ump in Seattle.

Why doesn’t Collins get 2B???

Interference makes it a dead ball basically

Hahn bout to get after the ump from the tunnel behind HP

Seems like a terrible call on many levels.

Was he really out of the baseline just because he touched the grass? is that the rule?

Why does the runner have to go to first, it's not like Nick wanted the ball to hit his head.

I guess if the rule is that he went out of the baseline = auto out and runners return, that might make a little sense?

Very odd

The betting line dropped almost 10 cents in favor of the Royals right before the game. I thought it was so weird considering the sox were facing lefty. Now that I've watched this homeplate umpire the entire game, I feel like someone knew something I didn't.

This isn’t called 9 out of 10 times. Royals get rewarded for a clown shoe defense

But wasn’t he already halfway to 2B?  Does the dead ball require the runner to return to whatever base he started at?

Ball 4!

Yep, YouTube shows Billy Hamilton a few years ago allude a tag and was safe...was probably 5 feet farther out of baseline

Do you really believe there is some organized mafia type shit going on with professional lines or just venting?

Bring in Grandal

Mendick is a professional hitter. He is just better than Madrigal.

That shouldn’t have been interference there was no intent on madeigals part, that was a bad throw. Total horse shit

Mendick needs to stick around. Hes a ballplayer.

Leury is opening up so badly from left side.  Just watch his front leg

Nick took one step towards foul territory. What is he supposed to do?

It was the correct call, but it should  have been called on the missed tag, he went out of the lane. He was where he should be when it bounced off his helmet. The weird part is he took forever to call it.

I'm mostly just venting, but it happened in the NBA, so there's a nonzero chance of it happening in the MLB.

My educated guess was that the line dropped because of our lineup card.

Mercedes' walks (especially the last one) were all great at-bats given that pitchers are trying everything outside the strike zone to get swings from him.

He did nothing wrong.  Judgment call didn’t go his way

Another grounder to right side...shocker
