I'm not the one who made the statement.  And to answer your question it really doesn't.  Go start shit with someone else tough guy.

Walk it all back.

No need to think outside the box.. That's just another way of saying I'm a clueless fan. Cease has to pitch. Everyone has a few extra days of rest . It's a long season after a short season. Cease is g

Leury leading off is the biggest indictment on the offseason yet. Good lord.

100%. Love Hendriks but a closer was not a payroll priority.

This. Like his personality and what he does for the community, but blowing what little money we had on him seems like a poor use of resources (knowing the Sox though they wouldn’t of signed anyone else even if they missed out on him).

Not the greatest sign when you’re very high priced closer struggles to put hitters away

KC hitters, no less.

Hendriks is a disaster.

Doing his best 2020 Cease impression

Maybe we can hear more, about how this bullpen is going to be so amazing this year.

I'm willing to give Liam a lot more respect than what he's getting so far in this thread.

He's had a rough start so far, but his track record is solid and he has had a rockey bit of appearances.

I'm not too worried, yet.

They gave him way too much credit for his game 3 performance vs the Sox while forgetting how bad he was the other two games

There we go

Or you know how good he was the entire year....but let's forget about that too

Man this bullpen could not have been anymore overrated. So far the only guys who have looked dominant are Kopech and Crochet.

Time to walk it off

nice lineup construction Tony, now you fuck yourself with the backup C spot

what a horribly managed and played game all around

Lol...these takes on Hendriks are hilarious.  Dude has been arguably the best reliever in baseball the last two years and simply is hitting a cold stretch.  Probably doesn’t help that he’s used to being used frequently and now pitches once every four days.  Blame La Russa for that.

Holland is not a good matchup against our big hitters.

Collins still keeping it going with the horrible game

He was almost untouchable for his previous 110 IP

I think he only pitched in games 2 and then 3, but yeah.

Grandal homered off him in game 1

Some people just hate Collins. He's been good behind the plate IMO. Much better than Grandal at stopping balls in the dirt.

Better win it in the 9th, cause with our hitting with RISP, we're not gonna win this game in extras.
