Nick Solak was a 50 grade speed guy and is 98th percentile in sprint speed according to Baseball Savant. Nick Madrigal had a 60 speed grade and is in the 77th percentile. I wonder how the scouts could have gotten it so wrong.

The FS1 replay had Abreu missing him.

Tag was close but he got him

That shouldn't get through a shift.

Piss test García ASAP. Wtf

Even when we do shift, we can't do it right lol

Don’t worry, In a couple years shifts won’t be allowed.

The dude is a barrels machine. If he runs into one, it's going a long way.

Even if Nick got to it, can’t imagine there’s a play at 1st

Ok Andrew Vaughn throwing arm.

It shouldn't have.  I was thinking the same thing.

Well, Andrew's got a stronger arm than I realized.

That was like one of Cespedes’ throws...

I don’t think he’s had a bad AB this series yet

what a throw from Vaughn wow

Keuchel getting barrel'd up the 2nd time through the order. Not good.

Yep no shot

Not a terrible throw from Vaughn. I understand what Stone is saying but there is 0 chance they get the guy at 2nd

Vaughn played this ball really well, saved a run there and showed a nice throwing arm (even though he should hit the cutoff man)

Phew!

3 balls hit at over 100 MPH that inning and Lowe narrowly missed his by 3 MPH. Please do not let Keuchel face the top of the order again TLR.

Strongly agree. My little league coach’s philosophy about hitting the cut off man would resonate with Stone though lol.

lucky to get out of that one without a scratch

Did they fully shift? I know the Sox haven't been shifting as much as other teams.

Vaughn pitched a little bit. I think hee hit 90 on the mound

Anybody listening to Len and AJ calling the game on FS1? @chitownsportsfan

Was Gallo really going to score with how hard that ball was hit?  He was already pulling up at third with the action in front of him...I guess you can count it as a run saved but you’d think 75-80% of LFers would end up with the same result.  Unless they just had a Juan Pierre, Eloy or Scotty Pods arm.
