That's a Winner, Winner Pasta Dinner Sox Win

I was asleep for most of it.  Fill in the details.  Great win, bullpen looked awesome.

Big Grand Slam by Timmy.

Kopech looked awesome again.

Bummer looks like he's back.

That's a nice bounce back win after last night.  Would love to see a strong game from Giolito tomorrow to win the series.

That play behind second by Anderson was another from another world as well.

If he's saying Timmy is the leader of this team, I wholeheartedly agree!!

TLR does way more good things than Renteria did IMO.  He also does about the same amount of stupid things Rickie did, which is a lot to take.  The proof will be how they play down the stretch and in the playoffs it seems.  Keeping a talented team relaxed will be his job.

Don't look now but the "unstoppable Dodgers" are now half a game ahead of the Sox and 1 up (34 to 33, respectively) in the RD department for best in MLB.  The Astros at 33 as well.

They got a big dose of the Padres and both teams looked similar. Milwaukee threw some great arms at them as well. Still by far the most complete team in baseball.

La Russa might need to fuck around and go Michael, Gio, Lance in the WS.  That's a fucking trio.

Great win today and hopefully we can win the series tomorrow with a Gio Gem.

16-11 would look real nice after our slow start.

Also Leury making the haters look bad again. Always helps to get strong contributions from the bench. Lamb also with 2 walks  and no official at bats and Grandal 4 walks and no official Ab'S.

Yea watching the replay now there is some good regression going on with Leury.  Grandal and him are at least having better ABs. White Sox took 8 walks, helps having guys like Grandal that will take them even when they aren't hitting for shit.

Long long way to go to get to that but if we are going there kind of hard not to include Rodon in the discussion.

@Sox80 as well, Clearly we trade Gio at the deadline for a King's ransom to keep the dynasty rolling long into the late 2020s! ?

Rodon will sure be disappointed.

Don't count out Carlos as good as he's looked.

better get a good pitcher back cuz more than likely Rodon and Lynn both gone after 2020 so I think we still need Gio ;)

No, Rodon and Lynn are where the "Machado money" is going to be spent. ?

Won't even need close to that amount. There were a lot of years in that deal.Wouldn't likely need more than $75M combined to resign the both of them and that's covering at least 2 more years for each of them.
