Nice job, Bummer...definitely looking like the Bummer we hoped was back.

Bummer is just automatic right now

Bummer looking like the guy we paid all that money to

Having any kind of stability in the 7th and 8th innings is huge when you're paying $13 million to your closer.

I'd give Henrdiks the 9th. Don't give them an inch

Perhaps, but Ruiz has closed out six games and has been pitching better to start the year (1.46 ERA / 6 Games Finished vs Hendriks 3.55 ERA 10 GF).

Can see it either way, just think Hendriks would be able to pitch 1 + innings We’d/Thurs when needed vs. Ruiz who is strictly a one inning guy.

Ruiz for the 9th?

Ground ball city has come back to the south side.

I think if we get one more, you let Ruiz pitch the 9th. We have a lot of games in a row. Gotta save the big arms when you can.

Agreed. Not that Hendriks has been anything to write home about this season but I would save him for another day. Let Ruiz start the 9th and give him a short leash.

Yeah Ruiz should get it IMO. He gives up a run, bring in Liam

Ruiz is pitching the 9th after we bat around here, cmon guys it's not that hard.

Abreu has been hit quite a bit this season.

Retaliate against Cruz or Donaldson. Facing the Twins brings out the meatball in me ?

Yermin is ridiculous

It's going to get the Hamilton and Leury, LOL.

Man Mercedes has some great bat control

Yermin will just find hits with 2 strikes on pitches he has no business hitting.

Yermin hits offspeed mistakes.

Made it look easy

Mercedes is an impressive hitter.

Comebacks against the perpetual losers are fun.

Yaz definitely hitting the ball hard today.
