Minor League Catch-All 2021

What is the context here?  Why did this just all of the sudden happen in the middle of the season?  I thought most guys had apartments in the towns where they played?

Apparently players often have host families that they stay with during the season, but that practice was suspended this year because of COVID concerns. The Orioles paid for hotel rooms for their minor leaguers at home in May, but only gave them 1 month worth. This week is the first home week in June for that team, they were on the road for the first half of the month.

Sheesh. Sounds like he will need to go under the knife. Same with Kincannon. Sucks.

As a tease to a great article, this kid has the same surgery that Jake Peavy did.

Glancing at our minors, very few of our prospects seem to be having what can be considered a "Good" season. Of course the farm was going to weaken as we entered the competitive window, but performances have been bleak in 2021

Nice find and we have to hope for that with a lot of our guys who had aggressive placements.

Dang he was just getting going.

It shouldn't be difficult for a team to buy up some multi unit buildings near the stadium to house players.  The cost wouldn't even be all that great as the real estate is an investment.  They could even do something like a frat house with a bunch of private rooms, common areas and cafeteria dining.

Juan Silverio, Courtney Hawkins, Keon Barnum, and Jared Mitchell all killing Indy Ball
