Mariners lefties aren't swinging at Rodon's slider.

Collins might want to stop calling for it so much

He's just not that good.  Sox are very weak at the corners.  Weak roster.

Hopefully it didn’t hit anyone on the concourse. Shitty move

Meanwhile Rodon is at 76.

Lucky if we get 6 out of Rodon at this rate.

To my untrained eye Jose has a bad approach at the plate this season. I do realize he's close to the lead league in RBIs. I know it's cliche and probably wrong but he seems 'off' at the plate. He takes a lot of cookies and has a lot of bad at bats. I'm hoping he starts to relax and fricking pound the ball.

Seager was all over his fastball.

I'm not a big fan of Goodwin. Is there reason I should change my mind about him?

Not sure Rodon’s ever had a worst night with his slider.  Poor Murphy getting killed by the umps.

Generous strike 3

Murphy has gotten hosed on both of his strikeouts. Neither call has been close.

Lol Murphy is having all the bad luck tonight

Umpires are screwing Tom Murphy.

Yeah, I think the RBIs are an aberration, as weird as that sounds to say. His approach is just bad, all over. Maybe because 44% of the starting lineup is out, and he thinks it is all on him to single handledly win every game, I don't know...

Binetti's slap and tickle routine with Stone is exhausting.  For the love of god will you just call the damn game.

We are apparently still in spring.

He’s ok as a 4th outfielder.

You aren't going to find stars available on minor league deals. It's not his fault he's being overexposed right now.

Close pitch

No.  Like Mendick and Garcia (and others), he’s a backup player being exposed playing everyday.

Ruiz up as Rodon approaches 100 pitches.

White Flag game.

Lost him.

Wish we had at-bats like that one from Bauers.

Carlos basically a fastball only pitcher tonight against lefties.

This whole “approach” thing by the Mariners is a fascinating strategy the Sox should try

Reopening night has been…shitty thus far.

Abreu‘s triple slash is

240 .316

.434

last 15 games it‘s been

200 .238

.333

he has been absolutely brutal. The trying to do too much excuse is getting old.

They are 100 percent pressing which isn’t a good combo with six or so minor leaguers in the lineup
