June 27, 20214 yr Dalquist looks solid today. 4 SO & 2 H through 3.0 IP so far. Control with the fastball looks so much better than his last start. Edited June 27, 20214 yr by DirtySox

I threw my back out so badly that I'm literally tilted in one direction and I can barely walk to the bathroom ? I've been sleeping like 14 hours a day with this shit. Congrats on the grandson! June 28, 20214 yr Author Hang in Ron. Thought you got a little surly in some posts. Hope you feel better. Lived on epidurals for years then a failed multilevel spinal fusion. Back problems suck.

Back problems suck. Bringing back memories of Joe Crede. Have had them once or twice a year (severe spasms, pain shooting down legs, problems standing up straight after sitting for prolonged periods of time) from age 32-51. Started off with sports with lots of torque like racquetball and badminton, now it could be triggered just by leaning over the wrong way to pick up something or put on/tie shoes. Have heard things like not enough pre stretching or “not enough water in discs” from Chinese doctors, but it has never quite gotten severe enough to consider surgery, although had six weeks this past spring where it took almost six weeks to feel 100% (was always 3-7 days previously.) i just attribute it to a lifetime of racquet/bat and trunk swinging sports catching up to me, or bad genetics. June 28, 20214 yr 0 idea how he'll be as a pro, but what Jake Burger has done after 2 Achilles tears is unprecedented Edited June 28, 20214 yr by ChiSoxJon

June 28, 20214 yr Birmingham's catchers have been putting together nice offensive seasons. Kanny's Latin guys are all settling in at the plate. Great to see.
