There are no bad pitchers who sustain 6/1 K to BB rates like Heuer has this year. He's been frustrating, the command hasn't been as good as last season, but he's going to be fine.

  • I don't get all the Goodwin hate. A left handed bat with a 129 OPS+, 130 wRC+, 12.9% walk rate 23.7% K-rate. What's so baffling?

Still completely baffled by Goodwin batting 4th.

After seeing Acuna's injury, I really hope he doesn't play outfield tomorrow.

As is Tony

The underlying peripherals are all pretty good. His FIP and xFIP are around 3.3.  But his stuff is getting smoked.

The good news is that his ERA is finally under 5. That might be the first time that's happened since May.

Still hangs too many sliders

These games are not close enough.

Urias looks like their best hitter right now.

It’s tough, because we can’t straight DH, but you also don’t want to see him get hurt in a meaningless minor league game.  I’d probably rotate between LF & DH and hope for the best.

Thank you sir...

Good to see Eloy banging them out, really great sign.

Throw. Strikes.

Ruiz has no idea where his pitches are going.

I wonder if we'll ever see Yermin back in the bigs.

Like...8 games at DH, 2 at LF, out of every 10. I hope he understands that he eneds to learn to love DH.

Ruiz- THROW STRIKES

Ruiz stinks ? How is his ERA 2.91? Sure hasn't looked like he's pitched that well this year

Absolutely pathetic by Ruiz today

Seriously guy....throw the ball in a hittable area, don't let this become a game again, you have one job.

Ball 4…

Ruiz is not a high leverage pitcher, that much is clear.

This was the perfect situation to use Ruiz and he completely shits the bed. Now we gotta go to Liam.

If there was ever a player that was meant to be a DH it's Eloy. The guy is a natural hitter. He is not a great athlete. He is a below average OFielder who is prone to injury.

Actual save situation now for Liam, you know TLR was salivating at the opportunity.
