I think there's going to be a lot of college pitchers called today.  Would be nice if they mixed in a college catcher.  

Stovall, Kath, Pacheco, Hill are a few names that intrigue me in round 2.

There are some teams with  a lot of money to spend (O's, Royals, D'Backs). Gotta assume they plan on overslotting someone here in the 2nd.

Mace, Swellenbach, Cannon.  They should have some nice options.  

The kid from Arkansas, Kopps would be a fantastic pickup in round 3 or 4.

This is my dream scenario.

Will be interesting to see how this happens today.  The Sox pretty much got a slot pick in Montgomery, so if they  have a overslot in mind later, they will need to save money on the back end of the last 10 rounds to make it happen.  Also with only 20 rounds, they don't have as many chances to slide iffy high school picks back into the later rounds like they had been over the last five years to bring in guys like Bush, Glass, etc.

He does not. He completely biffed his team interviews.  The kid just doesn't get it.  He would be better off going back to school and getting his head screwed back on right. He has a lot of maturing to do.

Seeing as the Sox already took a stab at Del Castillo,  I wonder if that is a name to watch.

I like Fabian the most here. I like taking a chance on Hill too but were in a situation where we should be showcasing prospects asap so not sure he fits. Kath has a great profile but seems unsignable for the Sox. Dont think I want anything to do with Del Castillo.

Callis sounds like Taylor may go 1, wood at 3?
