Because he is hitting left handed and TLR is obsessive at having lefties hitting righties.

That needs to change when Luis and Eloy return.

Nice shot by Sheets, Astros lucky that wasn't an inside the park HR.

Eloy 0-2 with 2K so far tonight

So exciting.  Hang in there everybody.  Have a feeling we get Abreu back too when he rejoins the team.

Love to see this opposite field power from the Sox today. All 4 hits have been to the opposite field and they've all been crushed.

Odorizzi doesn't have it today. Gotta cash in here.

That's the way!

Burger Time!!!

Odorizzi just isn’t sharp tonight. They have to win this game.

A run from the rookies. Works for me.

Burger!

Burger is so dangerous

Sheets and Burger coming through in consecutive AB's like that is awesome to see.

It's remarkable he's still this good after all of the injuries and lost years of development.

That's kind of the Burger we thought we were drafting way back when, he's got pretty good bat control out there, I have to imagine it'll continue to improve without years off at a time

Look at the kids comin thru (Sheets, Burger).

Attaboy Jake, very nice piece of hitting there…

Gotta chase Odorizzi early and get a few innings against their bullpen guys outside of Presley.

I think the Sox nailed their evaluation of him as a prospect. Imagine how good of a hitter he'd be without the terrible injury luck. He seems to have special tools as a hitter.

lmao at the trash can

Stay classy Sox fans, no need for the stupid garbage can on the field.

I think Odorizzi will throw 90 pitches even if he gives up a ton. They are trying to stretch him out.

It was kinda funny until someone hit it onto the field.

I would never get in trouble doing this kind of thing but ngl I think this is funny. Doesn’t hurt anyone and the astros deserve to be disrespected
