Quick question, other than just to be a contrarian, why do you have such a hard time with Abreu dipping, but no problem with Tony driving around hammered?

  • Abreu still dips. It is incredibly unsightly and sets a poor example. Tony doesn't drive around hammered anymore as far as I can tell. It's a dispicable thing Tony did. However, it's over and done wit

12 year anniversary of Buehrle's perfect game.  Sox will be playing in the stadium that Buehrle hit his 1 career home run. Gio should honor Mark by pitching a perfect game and hitting a HR in a 1

Abreu becoming such a good defensive 1st basemen in his 30s is so impressive.

I like Moncada hitting cleanup instead of Goodwin.  No DH puts the lefty Sheets out of the lineup, otherwise it is a good lineup.

Not a good start here after having Adames at 0-2.

BIG DOUBLE PLAY

Thanks Avi!

Our old friend Avi, we know him so well

Yelich pulling 96 out of the zone through the shift was pretty unlucky. Nice job by Gio pitching out of trouble.

Avi still continues to hit into DP

Was hoping Peralta would throw lots of balls today with the long layoff.

Be patient Sox.

That slider probably hung too much.

Also what is Peralta doing? The pitcher isn't supposed to catch infield popups unless they absolutely have to.

Vaughn with a double off of a great righty.

god andrew is going to be such a professional hitter for a long time

AV double!

Vaughn looks so much better vs RHP.

AV!

Vaughn has such a nice swing

Yeah but how many double plays has he grounded into, hmmm? ?

TLR needs to help him out with more hit and runs. Normally guys on first for Abreu are fast runners. Abreu has been a machine hitting ground balls to third lately.

Love seeing Vaughn continuing to hit the ball hard vs quality RHP!! He's been making so much progress over the last 2 months.

He’s gotta let his catcher get that,  yeah.

Vaughn is going to be huge for this team in the 2nd half.

Dear Lord your blessings are many just give me one game without Leury.

This is the inning to capitalize
