Registering and trying to get family and friends to register that I can hopefully buy off of them.  I've heard that hotels in that area have been booked for a long time, and they were having meetings in the area about "how to set up an AirBnb".

Being from northeast Iowa, that area hosting an MLB game is wild. I would imagine the most popular places to get a hotel room if you want to stay in a city of over 50,000 wold be Dubuque, Cedar Rapids or Waterloo. A bunch of cities around Dyersville have the typical discount hotels etc. I'm curious as to if either the Sox or Yankees are staying in Iowa or flying into Iowa.

The worse one was winning the lottery for the Bears Super Bowl in 2006. Not only won tickets but had to travel and stay near Miami.  That was a hard sell.

I think they emails just went out about 5 minutes ago. They emailed those who did not win as well so i'd refresh.

2 Tickets just sold on stubhub for $5,000 a pop. 2 more listed for $8,200. Gonna be a pretty penny to attend the game.

I live in iowa city area but havent visited Dyersville FODs.. I'm  familiar with corn fields and baseball and never had the urge to visit FOD's. But now that the Sox will play there I feel the need to see it in the future

No clue, but I’ve been to 2 stadiums this year and neither have allowed reentry.
