There's also a lot of value in freeing up Hendriks to be a high leverage relief ace, pitch 2 innings on occasion, etc. But Tony seems set on using those guys traditionally in the 8th and 9th innings only.

I am glad that we are finally playing some small ball with more running, instead of the station to station, frequent double play version.
