Thank god he wised up. Ridiculously stupid pitch selection prior.

Andrew "LOB" Vaughn.

Maybe we should hit Robert ahead of Moncada and Vaughn.

Maybe he does, but I'd be shocked if Lowrie has the bat speed for Kopech's fastball

He hit a 102 mph fastball for a homer this year

This team has gradually climbed the ladder with RISP this season. Problem is that we're climbing down, not up.

Started great, and they've gotten progressively worse as the year has gone on.

Vaughn's #s with 2 outs & RISP really are mind blowing

Sad… but true. That said, considering that (prior to this season) , Vaughn had never played a professional baseball game above A+, it’s hard not to be amazed by his performance during his rookie season. The fact that he has also had to learn how to play the OF… and has performed so well there, makes his overall (MLB) debut season all the more impressive.

That's why I said maybe. I didn't look it up. That's good info, thank you.

Bring Kopech back out for the seventh before the sixth is even over

I can not wait till Kopech is a starter.

Just nasty.

It was a walkoff against Clase

I would have loved to see Kopech pitch the 9th on Sunday against the Yankees instead of Foster.  But he seldom comes in if the Sox are losing.

make kopech the closer relegate the "nasty on the fans" boys to the 7th and 8th.

Breathe

Occasional (untimely) BB notwithstanding, Koepek is a bad, bad man… out on the mound. ??

That got way too much of the zone but good result

That ball was very similar to the fly balls Eloy and Collins hit on Saturday

I love Tony not trying to squeeze an extra inning out of Keuchel

I agree with that.

Kopech for one more inning.   bummer the 8th. Then kimbrel close it out. Give liam the night off.

Whew… Koepek’s natural late movement helped keep that (well hit ball) off the bat’s sweet spot… thus, keeping the deep fly ball in the ball park.

Nice hit.
