Yes he coaxed a BB. That said, Goodwin with a .111/.150/.167 slash line over the past 7 games. There is no reason to justify starting him at this juncture. He is a substandard defensive outfielder and to make the final out (base running blunder) on a run scoring base hit with 2 outs and TA due up, is unconscionable. The fact that he sheepishly smiled after his f@ck up makes it even more maddening.

Vaughn, Eloy, and Lamb should rotate between outfield and DH. Grandal once in a while when he need a breather from behind the plate.

He is right.  Goodwin is a AAA player. Would have lovedGallo or Bryant acquisition, who can contribute in every game unlike a pitcher.  And not having to see Goodwin in the outfield is a big plus.
