Couple of hard hit balls, hopefully sign of good things to come.

Three of 102 or higher that inning

So stupid not to have Timmy steal on the 1-2 or 2-2.

You'll never get a more obvious splitter count than 1-2 vs Abreu

I don't understand why TA isn't running there

I don’t either.  Sox seem to be hit and run and base steal averse.  But also frequently hitting into rally killing double plays, which come hand n hand.

Its kind of faded but still pretty sweet little sweatshirt. Worried about washing it too often though. Would grade, 7/10.

Love the sweatshirt, Pal!

He rightfully gets praised (imo) for being an intelligent hitter, so he should have been smart enough to know Jose would be getting spammed with splitters and ran on one of those pitches anyways

You'd think this 2006-07 team. I wonder where LaRussa's mindset is in all of this.

I think the answer is in your message ?

Probably not a popular post.  I think Dallas can settle down.  It's obviously a big issue he seems to be left out a inning to long lately.

They have to try different things to manufacture runs.  Even bunt perhaps - they give up outs anyways.

Nice Keuchel has settled down, keeping the Sox in the game.

Nice turn…now let’s go get a couple runs

Keuchel really is an incredible defensive pitcher. He is a natural in that aspect of the game, at least.

Madigral doesn’t turn that.

DK showing up. Let’s get a lead boys.

He didn’t even run on second 3-2 count to Abreu.  Hit and run and steal attempts also open holes in the infield as well as avoiding double plays.  Anderson should be running every time he is at first.

a random ass moncada home run would be a thing i would like

On one hand, Keuchel is bad and the Sox have one (probably 2) better options than him as a #5.

On the other hand, he's usually fine going twice through a lineup and expecting him or most #5s to go 3 times through a lineup is an indictment on the manager as much as anything else. Especially with a bullpen that can cover for him.

i'll settle for a single

OK, Yoan on....can we string a couple of hits together here, please?

Moncada's OBP getting back towards .370

baby steps

Moncada having a great game today, hope they can get him in.

Keuchel is undoubtedly great at inducing DPs. One problem is his penchant for making far too many uncompetitive pitches (leading to many hitter’s counts) at critical junctures in the ballgame.
