Everyone but the batter seems to know a splitter is coming.

Yoan the only one surprised he got an offspeed pitch there. Dumbass.

He usually strikes out looking.

Moncada hasn't hit since Ray Ray lectured us about how great he hits with runners on base.

Hard to do against a good splitter.  Our guys need to be less anxious and take more splitters, can’t hit them anyway.

If you're behind in the count, you're getting a splitter. Kind of easy to decipher here...

Oh look he failed again with RISP and two outs

Vaughn's #s with 2 outs & RISP really are mind blowing

AV + RISP = Commercial Break incoming

Last 2 days he has left 10 guys on, yet hit a solo HR

It has to be like 2-50 at this point, lol? I love Vaughn to death and think he might already be the 2nd or 3rd best hitter on the team, but it's interesting how some players can't avoid criticism and some don't receive any. Especially when the Sox lineup is filled with guys who all end up in the ~110-120 wRC+ range anyways.

Andrew "LOB" Vaughn.

And the games he's attended, the Sox have lost all of them cept one (and that was because another poster here is undefeated in the games he's attended).

Clearly he's a jinx.

Well at least they got the lead but feels like the Sox should have 2 or 3 run lead.

Seems he forgets to use the whole field in those situations.

I love Tony not trying to squeeze an extra inning out of Keuchel

Maybe we need to give some of these guys the TA ke sign once in a while when we think the splitter is coming with less than 2 strikes.

Montas let the Sox get themselves out

They took Keuchel out after 78 pitches! They are learning!

Nice to see Kopech back at 99-100.

Maybe he does, but I'd be shocked if Lowrie has the bat speed for Kopech's fastball

He's a rookie, he'll no doubt get better.

Why is Zavala calling for a breaking ball when Lowrie was late on a fastball previously?
