After having a solid 1st year of his contract, Keuchel (this season) seems to be a shell of his former self. He routinely feebly attempts to nibble at corners (missing way too often)… thus creating far too many counts for hitters to sit on his meatball subbstandard fastball. Unless there is a dramatic turnaround, in his effectiveness, in the final 8 weeks of the regular season, he may not even make the post season roster. This is not even close to what they anticipated when signing the (deflecting blame, excuse maker) to the large (multi year) contract (with which they are saddled.)
