Kimbrel needs to not spike pitches so badly that the catcher has no chance to block it. It's cost him twice now. 

If TLR didn’t bring Hamilton in for a perfectly competent Romy Gonzalez, you could’ve hit Sheets for Gonzalez, then bring Hamilton in for defense. Real dumb move.

Yes, a lot of that was on Grandal. Unfortunately, the best catcher they had at blocking shit was Collins. Grandal has always been bad at that and seby is straight up awful.

You could still throw the fastball lower to make it more difficult to hit a fly ball.

Have you seen the contact on Kimbrel’s fastball over the plate the last month?  His velocity sucks and it’s getting murdered.
